Gradualities flow their fingers:
So horny in my smile.
Justify my ego
With your reptile eyes;
Blink and you are dying,
Shrink and you are flying
As a feather on the breeze
Painted with droplets of crude blood…
Denial of the hatred lingers:
The innocents in a lost trial.
Lustify my ego
As you prepare to die;
Run from the heavenly angels,
Bury your heart deep in hell
For the oxymoron smiles
With his unsung eyes faded and dead.
Ragged flesh drip from broken bone:
The beast is too gentle for me.
Rustify my evil
Anxious happiness when you see me;
Caught in my sapphire trap;
Lost, there’s no turning back
Because you are always alone
In that summer place of doom and dread.

Insight:
This poem has great depth of meaning in every facet of every turn of phrase. Comprehension is something only few will ever achieve and even then they will never know the full extent of the anguish and joy hidden within the subtleties of these words. While I could easily delve into the subsurface of defining the references hidden and yet obvious to myself, I feel it would deprive you of your own conclusions as to what this poem is truly about…
